Hi! I’m Hannah Kolar, the maker behind Gem&Vine. I care for 100+ of my own houseplant. I started crafting plant jewelry for my own home in 2025 and began the journey of sharing that comfort and beauty with other plant parents.

Caring for plants has been a grounding, healing part of my life—helping me find peace, reconnect with myself, and express who I am. Through Gem&Vine, I create handcrafted plant jewelry inspired by that journey with the hope of aiding others on their own. Each piece is uniquely made with love and intention, meant to bring a sense of calm, beauty, and joy into your space—just like plants have done for me.
My Story
Hi, I’m Hannah — the hands, heart, and creative mind behind everything you see here. I’m a mom to an amazing son on the autism spectrum, and he inspires so much of who I am and what I create. Since 2014, I’ve worked in the developmental disability community, and it’s become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I’m passionate about being a bridge for individuals with unique differences, helping them feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Outside of work and crafting, I’m usually in the kitchen baking something cozy, playing video games when I need to unwind, or writing music on the piano or ukulele. Creativity has always been my outlet—and Gem&Vine is where all of those passions meet.
Everything I make is a small piece of my world: my love for art, my belief in kindness, and my desire to bring comfort and beauty into everyday spaces. I’m so grateful you’re here, giving me an opportunity to share the magic I’ve grown into my life.
